First of all, the problem with the game itself lies in the constant loading times and other textures that load even before our eyes. The technical game is just very poor. Many items would require additional polishing. When it comes to combat, there are surprisingly few in The Inquisitor.
In this case, I won’t nitpick, as it’s still largely an adventure game and the action itself is just an extra. It’s a shame that when it comes to combat, I feel like I’m going back in time to the first assassins, which isn’t encouraging.

It all sounds as simple and even archaic as the games of 15 years ago. It’s certainly not a good recommendation, but it’s worth noting that the game itself draws us in with its plot. Mortimer himself, as the main character, pales in comparison to how he was presented in the universe of Piekara’s book.

Another terrible mistake in The Inquisitor game seems to be the character models themselves, what is particularly noticeable are the unrealistic faces that simply appear to be made of plastic. In that case, I’d blame the small budget of the studio itself, but the terrible optimization doesn’t allow me to defend this title in any way.
Yes, all of this may have its own atmosphere, after all, it starts with a vampire hunt and all the action plays out in an interesting way, but the world itself is practically devoid of side quests, or at least there are a small number of them.

All of this means that we can finish The Inquisitor in one sitting. It will take us about 10 hours, which is actually a big drawback of the title itself.
The town of Koenigstein itself seems to be a major and minor plus of The Inquisitor – it looks really decent and you can see that the game’s creators have spent a bit more time there. Listening to or following individual people is also not a bad thing here, which is worth emphasizing.
The game itself is quite vulgar and we have to admit that sometimes it seems like this is its main principle, but in this case it has more to do with the original presentation of the world of books, so it can’t be considered a disadvantage.
