New Journey of Kratos as a Father
Again a father figure, he guides, and guards, his son Atreus, who seeks to earn his respect. Kratos now must grapple with taming the fury that makes up his being, as he traverses the dangerous world with his son. The game introduces a new world filled with exotic creatures, fearsome monsters, and powerful gods through the transition from the lavish marble pillars emblossomed by Olympus to the rough, rugged forests, mountains, and caves cradled in pre-Viking Norse mythology.
The most engaging mechanics play through an over-the-shoulder camera. But at no time in a cameralike controls experience, God of War’s above footage offers a fighting experience filling the life in and out. It shows how magnificent and devastating, in terms of grit, real battles are brought about in Norwegian myths. Kratos brandishes a wholly different primary weapon in tandem with abilities that keep to the series’ icon franchise while boasting of discovering novel avenues for attack dynamics.
