Okay, so It Takes Two is honestly one of the coolest games I’ve played in a long time. It’s a co-op platform game, which means you HAVE to play it with someone else. Yeah, no solo missions here. You can even invite a friend for free with the Friend’s Pass thing, so that’s a win. The whole game is about this couple, Cody and May, who get turned into dolls by some random magic spell, and now they’re stuck in this super weird, totally unpredictable world where they gotta fix their broken relationship.
Each level throws some new crazy stuff at you—like, you can’t just expect what’s coming. One minute, you’re beating up some gangster squirrels (yeah, squirrels), and the next, you’re flying around in underpants. I’m not joking. There’s even a part where you’re DJing in a club or sliding through a snow globe. The story is both funny and kinda sweet, which isn’t something I expected. It’s about Cody and May learning to work together and sort out their issues, so, yeah, relationships and all that.

The game looks amazing and it’s made by Hazelight, the same people who are kinda the bosses when it comes to co-op games. It’s also perfect if you wanna play with your friend, either on the couch or online, ‘cause it’s split-screen, so you both gotta be paying attention.
In short, It Takes Two is wild, funny, and way more fun than I thought it’d be. It keeps you on your toes with all the random stuff you get to do, and even if you don’t care about the story, the gameplay is just so different from level to level that it never gets boring. Play it, seriously.
